Most of what we set exists to sign you in and keep your account safe, and Daiven cannot work without it. Beyond that there is a single cookie — a marketing attribution cookie that records which link brought you here — and it is only set if you agree. There is no advertising network, no cross-site tracker, and no pixel from anyone else.
Cookies on daiven.app are set by Selenthir Sp. z o.o. (Tysiąclecia 35 / 41, 41-303 Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland), the company behind Daiven. All of them are first-party — set by daiven.app itself, not by anyone else's script.
Required for Daiven to work at all — signing you in, keeping you signed in, and protecting your account. These cannot be turned off.
| Cookie | Kept for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| __Secure-next-auth.session-token | Rolling 7 days from last activity, capped at 30 days | Keeps you signed in, so you don't have to log in on every page. |
| __Host-next-auth.csrf-token | Session | Protects sign-in and account forms from being submitted by another site on your behalf. |
| __Secure-next-auth.callback-url | Session | Remembers where to send you back to after a sign-in step. |
| __Secure-next-auth.state, __Secure-next-auth.pkce.code_verifier | Minutes, only during a Google or Facebook sign-in | Confirms a social sign-in response came back from the right place. |
| __Host-daiven.did | 90 days | Recognizes the browser you normally use, so a familiar sign-in can be told apart from one on an unfamiliar device. |
| daiven_consent | 6 months | Remembers the cookie choices you made here, so you aren't asked again on every visit. |
| sidebar_state | 7 days | Remembers whether you left the navigation sidebar expanded or collapsed. Set only once you are signed in, and only because you moved it yourself. |
| daiven_view_as_plan | 1 hour | Internal tool used only by our own staff accounts to preview the app on a different plan. Not set for regular accounts. |
Lets us see which link or campaign people discover Daiven through. First-party only — no advertising network is involved, and nothing here identifies you personally.
| Cookie | Kept for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| daiven_attr | 90 days | Remembers which link, campaign, or website you originally arrived from. Contains a short channel label (e.g. the name of the referring site) and no identifier for you. Set only if you arrive via a tagged link or from another site. |
These live in your browser's own storage rather than in a cookie, so they are never sent to our servers with your requests. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of them.
| Cookie | Kept for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| daiven_theme | Until cleared | Remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. |
| daiven_history, daiven_session_* | Until cleared | Keeps a local copy of your recent chat list on this device, so it loads without waiting on the network. |
| daiven-swr-cache-v2:*, daiven-swr-cache-owner | Until cleared, or until you switch account | Caches non-sensitive account display data (your assigned agent, credit balance) so pages load faster on repeat visits. |
| daiven_attachment_index, daiven_attachment_* | Until cleared (oldest removed first) | Caches previews of files you attached to a conversation, so they redisplay without re-fetching. |
| vote:* | Until cleared | Remembers whether you rated a response helpful, so the choice persists if you revisit it. |
| rating:*, followup:shown:* | Until cleared | Records, on this device only, that you have already been shown a rating or follow-up prompt, so it isn't repeated. |
| handoff-info:* | Until you close the tab | Carries context between screens when a conversation is handed to a different agent. |
We use Vercel's privacy-preserving analytics. It sets no cookie and builds no profile of you, which is why there is nothing here to consent to — and it is also why there is no Google Analytics, advertising pixel, or cross-site tracker anywhere in Daiven.
| Cookie | Kept for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Analytics | No persistent cookie | Aggregated usage figures, such as how many people viewed a page. Does not identify you individually. |
| Vercel Speed Insights | No persistent cookie | Aggregated page-load timings, so we can tell when the app has got slower. |
You can change your choices at any time using the button below, the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page, or — if you have an account — Settings → Data & Privacy. Withdrawing consent is deliberately as easy as giving it, which is what Article 7(3) of the GDPR requires. Turning off marketing attribution deletes the cookie immediately, and also clears the copy held against your account. Your browser's own settings can block or delete cookies too; blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in.
Your choices are remembered for six months, after which we ask again — a consent that never expires stops meaning anything. We also ask again if this policy changes materially: a new purpose, a new recipient, or a materially different retention period. Rewording a description is not a material change and does not reset your choices.
This page covers what is stored on your device. Everything else — your profile, your conversations, your billing, and the technical data we keep to protect accounts from abuse — is in the privacy policy, with its own legal bases, retention periods and rights.
Read the privacy policyIf you use one of those buttons, Google or Meta may set their own cookies on their own domains while you complete the sign-in. Those are covered by their privacy policies rather than this one — we cannot see or control them.
